I’ve long been a fan of Steve Jobs. Whatmore I have been using Apple Macintoshes since the 90s. What Jobs and the “Woz” did in Jobs’ parents garage in the early days have turned into a very profitable business. Not a few people have predicted the demise of Apple but as the Apple Store in 5th Avenue stands majestically, Apple will survive.
Something unknown before TO MYSELF about Jobs is that his biological father was Abdul Fattah Jandali, a Syrian political science professor, who had immigrated to the US in 1952 at the age of 21. According to Abokareem who commented on this Arab-American blogger (http://www.360east.com/?p=221), his father was from Homs, Syria.
He also has a sister, Mona Simpson, who is a successful writer.
The sad part is his biological mom and dad had to give him up for adoption since both of them were in grad school then, and couldn’t afford to support him.
