Ahlan wa sahlan ya Ramadhan

The only country where Ramadan begins today is Libya. The holy fasting month of Ramadan will start Monday, September 1, in most Arab and Gulf countries as well as North America and European countries. This is also the case with the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Yemen, Palestine Iraq Lebanon Syria Egypt Djibouti France, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium Italy Bosnia and Serbia Croatia Turkey Macedonia, Slovenia, Montenegro and Bulgaria Germany, Austria, Romania Ukraine Czech Republic Slovakia Australia Russian Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Kirghizstan the Philippines Tunisia, Algeria Morocco Indonesia India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Malaysian will begin fasting on Monday too.

The Companions of the Holy Prophet (saw) were joyous with the coming of Ramadhan so we should follow suit i hope.

May this Ramadhan be better than the previous years, amin.

The Prophet Muhammad(saw)’s Marriage to Aisha

Umm Yusuf wrote in her blog, ” This is easily one of the most controversial and debated topics among Muslims and non-Muslims.  Many Muslims do not even know how to answer questions about this topic and instead choose to ignore it or lie about it. While many non-Muslims use this marriage as an opportunity to insult the Islamic faith and portray the Prophet Muhammad (saw) as a vile man.

Well, I found this lecture and powerpoint presentation to be excellent in explaining the marriage of the Prophet Muhammad to Aisha.  It should answer all questions and show the reality of the times.  I have given two links here for your convenience.

Why only now, during this century are they using this as an excuse to attack the Holy Prophet (SAW).
