Boomerang, a t-shirt and postcard company in the Netherlands was distributing free postcards of Anne Frank, wearing a ( Palestinian ) kaffiyeh! The local Jewish group, Centre for Information and Documentation for Israel ( CIDI ) was quick to condemn the publication of the free postcard as “a tasteless falsification of history.”
Boomerang’s chief editor, Pascale Bosboom, told Haaretz that the artist responsible for the image – who is known only as T. – combined the two symbols “to create an idealistic image in which both states exist alongside one another in peace.”
When the Danish cartoonist drew a cartoon of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) wearing a bomb as his turban, that was freedom of expression?
Now, it’s not?

Did you rush off to selected Giant Hypermarkets recently and got your happy sim pack? Are you happy? Do you really understand what the pack is all about? It’s not about making calls and only charged 99 sen!
You were told that for a maximum of 45 minutes, you will only be charged 99 sen. Lots of savings, isn’t it? To a certain extend it is. To benefit from Happy sim pack from DiGi, you need to make a call more than 99 seconds! To save money, make it more than 3 minutes or 180 seconds. If you have so many things to talk about, this package is great!
If you make a call, say for 50 seconds, you will be charged 50 sen which if more than what’s being charged by other Telcos. Other telcos are charging 36 sen a minute. If you use happy sim pack and make a 1 minute call, you are charged 60 sen!
My guess is that guys and gals who ‘swings‘ on public phones at night would gladly use happy sim pack from DiGi.
Buy it if you want or need to, but do study the rates , ok? Have a happy day!

I don’t know about you, but dual citizenship is fine with me for an ordinary citizen. But if you hold an official position that demands that you put American interests above all else — if you should look transparent and fair to the rest of the world regarding your formation of Middle East foreign policies, then this is a dangerous trend.
>> The list includes Lewis ‘Scooter’ Libby, Michael Chertoff ( head of Homeland Security ), Richard Perle ( One of Bush’s foreign policy advisors ), Douglas Feith ( Under Secretary of Defense and Policy Advisor at the Pentagon ). The list continues…..

President Bush urged wary Persian Gulf allies to rally against Iran “before it is too late,” even as the International Atomic Energy Agency announced that the country had agreed, yet again, to answer outstanding questions about its nuclear programs within four weeks, reported The New York Times.
“After the lies and deception used to lead us to war in Iraq, the Bush Administration cannot be given leeway with aggressive statements that suggest a preemptive attack on Iran is necessary to avoid a larger war,” Kucinich said.

“A lot of these pieces of information, taken together, prove that the official story, the official conspiracy theory of 9/11 is a bunch of hogwash. It’s impossible,” said Lt. Col. Robert Bowman, PhD, U.S. Air Force (ret) With doctoral degrees in Aeronautics and Nuclear Engineering, Col. Bowman served as Director of Advanced Space Programs Development under Presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter.
“There’s a second group of facts having to do with the cover up,” continued Col. Bowman. “Taken together these things prove that high levels of our government don’t want us to know what happened and who’s responsible. Who gained from 9/11? Who covered up crucial information about 9/11? And who put out the patently false stories about 9/11 in the first place? When you take those three things together, I think the case is pretty clear that it’s highly placed individuals in the administration with all roads passing through Dick Cheney.”
