Listening or Downloading the Holy Qur’an

During this holy month of Ramadan, those of you who wish to listen or download the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, please go here. Dozens of wonderful Qaris and some of them are reciting with different qira’ah too.

Ramadan

My shaykh said:

1. Do not turn Ramadan into a festival of foods
2. Do not turn Ramadan into a month for sleeping during daytimes
3. Do not turn Ramadan into a month of useless chats, after a few rakaats of Tarawih
4. After going home from Tarawih, straight away you go to bed, not bothering about waking up for Qiyam al-Layl
5. Ramadan is a month to refresh the mind, heart and soul about the feeling of being with Allah. 
6. Ramadan is a month to fill the soul with the feeling of ubudiyyah, feeling weak and tiny in front of Allah, the Most Powerful.
7. Ramadan comes to wake up the heart that’s dead all this while.
