I got this picture from an acquaintance who is an Imam at one of the suraus in Bukit Antarabangsa. He claims that it is the picture of the famed Malay wali and alim, al-’Allamah Shaykh Daud al-Fatani.

Chocolate, vanilla & coffee at Starbuck & Coffee Bean

I have been getting messages from friends concerning certain items at Starbuck and Coffee Bean. I don’t go to such places but for those of you who frequent the place, this message might be for you.

Please make sure to confirm with JAKIM first at 03-8886 4000 for further information. The message claims that the chocolate, vanilla and coffee at both Starbuck & Cofffee Bean uses E471 ( Emulsifier 471 ) mono di-glycefides which is derived from pig.

Furthermore it is claimed that the cherries in Raspberry Frap are dipped in alcohol and the tiramisu contains rum. I’m not sure about the truth of the message but it would be a good idea for those who care what they eat and drink to clarify the matter with JAKIM.

Muslim deli owner gave money to guy who tried to rob him

Mohammad Sohail thwarted a robbery attempt at his Deli in Shirley, Long Island.

When the masked guy with a bat entered his convenience store after midnight, Mohammad Sohail took out his rifle, forcing the would be robber to drop to his knees begging for mercy.

When the perpetrator asked for forgiveness and told Mohammad Sohail that he had no money, no job and his family is hungry, Mohammad Sohail felt pity for the guy and gave him US$40 and a loaf of bread.

Well folks, the word is finally out. According to The Star, TM in a statement have confirmed that there is a problem with the Asia Pacific Cable Network 2 (APCN2) between Malaysia and the United States.

The disruption began on Feb 15 and repair works are expected to be finished by March 5.

User will experience slow browsing when accessing websites hosted in the US.

Hard to believe….but this is an example of Justice USA? If you’re homeless and you steal USD100 you’d be in jail for 15 years BUT if you’re an executive with the 18th largest public company in the world, for committing a fraud of USD500 million, you get 4 years only.

Boycotting…..

Each and every time the Jewish regime invades the Palestinian soil, Muslims all over the world ‘demand’ fellow believers to boycott Jewish products! How effective is this measure? Are Muslims actually boycotting Jewish products?

I noticed that the same scenario happens each time someone or some organisation attacks Islam especially the Holy Prophet Sayyidina Muhammad ( p.b.u.h). Remember Geert Wilders well-known Dutch Islamophob who insist that the Holy Qur’an be banned? Boycott! Did Malaysians actually boycott filling petrol at Shell petrol stations? Did Malaysians stop buying Dutch Lady products?

German Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble called on for papers across Europe to reprint cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h). Did we boycott German products?

I have came across this method many times. They are saying that by pressing this codes on your handphone you will know where your Nokia handphone is made? I’m not certain whether this method is bogus or not. According to this method, the numbers you need to identify are the 7th and 8th number. I’ve tried it on a couple of my Nokia phones and sure enough the codes came out, but is it reliable. Please comment.
